This is just my standard "copy and paste" guide I wrote for Yahoo Answers. These are the overall fastest ways, although they take some real work.

The overall best way with some luck is quite obvious. Godwars can throw out 50m per day with some fare luck, but this is going to require a combat of 120+ and probably 95+ range for armadyl (armadyl/saradomin are the best). Some other ways would have to be the Corperal Beast, needing a 10+ man team is a bit harder, but some of the signals go over 200m so thats a nice chunk of gold. Next in the combat area, killing Dagannoth Kings (I avoid these…they took 8m from me years ago =/), a few dragon axes, berserker rings, and archer rings would be nice. A little further down the list would be abyssal demons, dropping a whip 1:400 kills noramlly. An old, but still effective meathod is the Barrows Minigame, which has become less productive with the giant price drop in most pieces. If your lower, try dragon killing (any color) selling the bones/hides for 3kish per kill with clue scrolls and other drops.

As for skilling, the ABSOLUTE fastest way is the good old 91 runecrafting double natures. You can make over 1m per hour doing this, but requiring 91…yea, thats not something to laugh at. Some other ways to make money using skills would be woodcutting yew/mages, fishing monk fish/lobsters/sharks (monks IMO). Really, most skills you lose more money than you make. If you like to mine, getting up to rune can make a nice profit since an ore is over 15k.

And now for the ways I avoid since theres no XP in them. The best way doing this would have to be running oak planks, I'm not sure of an exact price as I said, I avoid them. Mort Myre Fungas works aswell, I collected over 1k in a little over an hr for 650k (I used it though), fungas is probably the best non skill related thing (aslong as you have completed the quest). Some other ways, slower but still working are collecting white berrys, snapgrass, and swamp paste.

Special Note: Try to avoid anything merchanting, it quite often loses money.

hey i played runescape before and i should say the best way to make some hard cold money would be selling yews, cut allot
or you can also sell big bones hope i helped

im a lv 98 and own a bgs full veracs whip d boots fury and zerker with about 2m what i usually use to make money was green drags but they got boring so i went to bandos ls for a few days

well after bandosing for a few hours i started to get loot and i had like 1m in 1trip just from loot! but then one day i got bandos tassets if u ls for a few hours like 3-6 u could get drops and maybe a bandos item! this also works for other bosses when lsing ex:zammy arma sara

ls massing isnt really a boring thing unless noone talks or no1 gets drops

it'll defo
be like green dragons around your level,
i make around in 5 mins 50k, per trip
so 10 mins you could get 100k, x10 you do the maths (:
and buy food like tuna/ non- expensive but heals 10 hp
bring around 12 each trip, and buy ten games(8) Necklases, wear them
teleport to clan wars walk east, until you hit 24 wildy and you will see other players with green dragons,

I used to play Runescape, but now only my friend does. (Im planning on getting back into it though.)

He is rich. Idiodicly rich. And he doesnt even give me any. >_>

Anyway, he cuts trees. High level trees. I think their called "magic" trees or something? I think their used to make bow strings.

P.S. It might not have been magic, it might have been "yew". Sorry, Im not sure.

F2P-
I have found that Tele-grabbing zammy wine is good for mage xp/money.
Go to monastry if you're desprate and take the monk robes.
Also, lesser deamons should be good for you, use the safespot and range them or melee them.

F.O.G-
It should be no problem for you, F2P or mem, if you know the stratagies. Bring rune scim, wizard full (robe skirt and hat) or any other mem mage robe, air staff or ancient, range armour (green d'hide for f2p and black preferably for mem), and some melee armour (rune helm, plate and legs for f2p, some light melee armour for mems). When attacking, use mage robes/range robes + scim/staff/bow, defending you use d'hide/melee armour. Walking around the edge is important, and running around one of the houses is good too, I got 800 charges using that once :D, it blocks mage attacks. You can also run to center, tele to edge, than run away straight away. Houses are (for me) a last resort.

Bounty hunter- I never went into it, I don't know :\

PVP worlds- Cornucopia is a good thing to have, you can take the noob's food and stuff it into there, so you can heal up to 14 hp at once.

Green and blue dragons-
They're awesome money, I'm not a mem so I don't know much about it, but you make real fast money.

Mage trees are also good if you have high WC xp

Rune ores-
THE JACKPOT. If you have 85 mining, go and mine'em and tele back/walk back. I think they're 11K ea, so you can get 280+ K on each trip. Don't smith them, they'll lose value. You should bring explorer's ring (3) there and cabbage tele back, bank, tele to varrock, sell, than repeat.

Also, barrows is good, go on rs wiki for a guide

green dragons.
no need for food. range from the safe spots or use pray if your melee.
easily make millions there in each time im on. close to bank too. bring a games necklace and go to the wildy drags. then when you need to bank use the necklace to tele to bounty hunter to bank

u can make money by selling unicorn horns and after the quest tower of life u can get some cow hide and unicorn horns then a uni-cow will pop up its a level 17 and when u kill it you'll get 4 unicorn horns.
