I have a level 70 epic geared shammy with 375 skinning, with just 225 riding skill and a level 70 dk with a full cobalt set. How can I make more money to get a epic flying mount and maybe level up a 2nd proffesion to max on my shammy?

  2. Simply questing in Northrend, you'll be able to make a good chunk of gold.

If you've little or no gold, the best money making professions would be any of the gathering professions; herbalism, mining, skinning. A good combination would be skinning and, either herbalism or mining. This is because the minimap tracker can only track either herbalism or mining and not both at the same time. However, the two most profitable gathering professions are herbalism and mining.

Make a Level 1 auction house alt and run him to the nearest auction house. Send him some gold so he can list items on the auction house.

As your main character is questing and gathering materials, send your auction house alt all the gathered items, bind on equip items and anything you think might sell on the auction house. This way you'll save a lot of time as your main character is not leaving your quest area and running back to the auction house every time his bags are full. If you're able, get the biggest bags you can afford for all your bag slots.

At least once a day, log into your auction house alt to clear your mailbox and list the items on the auction house. A good habit would be to login to your auction house alt before and after playing with your main character each day.

High level enchanting materials also sells very well on the auction house and lists for free. Presently, you'll only want to disenchant Uncommon Weapons and Armor from Northrend. Unless you have a friend with 375+ Enchanting skill, simply ask on trade for an Enchanter with your auction house alt. Do tip the enchanter, otherwise you'll soon find that some people will remember you and they would not bother helping you disenchant your items in future. A good line to use on trade is "LF enchanter to DE some items, will tip"

Safety tip: You'll only want to trade to a Level 60+ Enchanter and not say a Level 10, since his skill level would likely not be high enough to disenchant Level 70+ items; or he might scam you and steal your items. If you do get scammed, simply put in a ticket and a GM would get your items back and deal with the scammer.

  6. Take that DK (which I assume has no profession) and make him a miner/skinner. Sell all results as you level it. Thorium was selling pretty well when I did it, but maybe people want outland ores more right now. Basically, you're looking to capitalize on people's laziness by selling them the bars/leather that they want to power-level their profession. Keep a close eye on prices and stock. Try not to overload the market, it makes prices go down. Herbalism may work as well, but you can't track minerals and herbs at the same time. It takes time, but it works.
